What we store

• Your account: your email address, your name if you gave one, and when you signed in. Sign-in is by emailed code or Google; we never see a password.
• Your charts: the names, titles, departments, reporting lines and any notes you put in them. They belong to you. We read them only to run the product and, if you ask for help, to help you.
• Imports: a spreadsheet you paste or drop is read in your browser and only the resulting people are saved. When you choose an AI-assisted import, the text or image you provide is sent to the model provider for that one request and is not used to train anything.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We keep the plan you bought and a reference to the transaction, never card details.
• Usage: privacy-respecting analytics (page views, feature use) without cross-site tracking or advertising identifiers.

Who else touches it

Cloudflare hosts everything. Stripe handles payments. Resend delivers sign-in emails. Google provides optional sign-in. AI-assisted imports go to Anthropic through Cloudflare's AI Gateway, or run on Cloudflare's own models. Each of them acts on our instructions and holds only what that job needs.

Sharing and public pages

Charts are private unless you share a link or publish a public page. A public page lists people by name and title; every person listed gets a removal link that works without an account, and we record when you confirmed you had the right to publish.

Your rights

Export any chart at any time. Delete a chart and it is gone from our database; backups roll off within 30 days. To delete your account and everything in it, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@orgchart.live from the address on the account and we'll confirm within a week.

Cookies

One session cookie to keep you signed in. Nothing for advertising.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect.
