Terms of service

Plain language, because you'll actually read it that way.

Last updated September 5, 2026. These terms are between you and Hivetivity, Inc., the company behind orgchart.live.

Using the service

You can use orgchart.live to build, share and export org charts. You need to be able to enter a contract where you live. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

Your charts are yours. You give us the permission we need to store them, show them to the people you share them with, and render exports. You're responsible for having the right to include the people in them, especially on public pages. Don't use the service to harass anyone or to publish information about people who've asked to be removed.

Payments

Passes are a one-time charge and last 72 hours. Pro and Business are yearly and renew until you cancel; cancel any time and keep access until the paid year ends. Prices are shown before you pay. If something we sold you didn't work, tell us and we'll refund it.

What we promise, and don't

We work to keep the service up and your data safe, and we'll tell you if something goes wrong that affects you. The service is provided as is; we don't guarantee it will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending things

You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk, and we'll say why.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before the change takes effect.
